Articles & Features Daniel Allen Kent Design: Showcased - Sep 2007 Project: Vale Farm, Denton, Kent Value: NA Date: 2004 - 2004 Involvement: This was a private commission with work ranging from initial client discussions to gaining planning permission. Description: Self build extension constructed out of straw bale with a turf roof for a private client.

Articles & Features Daniel Allen Southern Housing – August 2007 Project: Woodbourne Gardens, Wallington, Surrey Value: £780,000 Date: 2004 - 2007 Involvement: All RIBA work stages from inception to completion including brief development, design and contract administration. This was commissioned following the successful completion of a previous project at Coniston Court for the same client. Description: Construction of 5 semi-detached ecohouses achieving BRE’s Ecohomes highest rating of excellent (superseded by the code for sustainable homes), providing social housing for a housing association. This project was awarded a national green apple award in 2008.

Description: Construction of 2 model semi-detached ecohouses achieving BRE’s Ecohomes highest rating of excellent (superseded by the code for sustainable homes), providing social housing for a housing association. This same model was then applied to a further scheme of 5 houses.
