According to George Yule pidgin is a „ variety of language that
developed from some practical purpose, such as trading, among
groups of people who had a lot of contact, but who did not know
each other's languages”. Word pidgin perhaps comes from Chinese
pronunciation of English word business. It is belief that pidgin is less
standard version of a language or simpler variety of it. In the other
hand, pidgin has its own right and own community of speakers such
as a typical language. Because some morphological prosodies in
pidgin are dropped and that makes syntactic constructions which is
not present in any of the contributing languages. It demonstrates that
pidgin is not only a result of borrowings but dependent language. A
pidgin takes its vocabulary mainly from language named „ lexifier”,
but it has its own sound system, structure and meaning. Sometimes
pidgin is described as an „English pidgin” because English is the main
source of words. As a contact language, pidgin is used only when it
need to be, to communicate among people with distinct languages.

from French creole (indigenous) borrowed from Spanish criollo
(native). Creoles are products of First Language Acquisition,
based on inadequate input. Creolization is a process when
children learn a pidgin as their mother tongue, within a
generation or two, native language use becomes consolidated
and widespread. Pidgins are lexically derived from other
languages, but they are simplified especially in morphology in
comparison with others, it means that pidgins are also different
from creoles.
