The capital and largest city is Buenos Aires, home to around 15.5 million residents. Other major cities include Córdoba, Rosario, and Mendoza. The climate varies from temperate to cold, with warm summers and cool winters. Beef is a signature part of Argentine cuisine.

Brazil. Argentina is slightly less than three-tenths the
size of the United States with a total are of 2,766,890
sq km (1,068,302 sq mi); the length is about 3,650 km

3. ClimateAnother important thing to considerate when travelling to Argentina is the climate. Generally,
Argentina’s climate is temperate, although there are variations, from extreme heat up at north of
the country, to mild climate at the center, to Antarctic cold down south in Patagonia. In Buenos
Aires which is the capital of Argentina, there is light snowfalls around June and July which are
the coldest months of the year, being January the warmest month so far. So if you are planning to
go around July is better to get snow clothes, and if you plan to go in January, you can pack your
swimming suit. Around cities in Argentina, the climate might change, although it will still keep
either cold or colder in July, and hot or hotter in January.

5. Buenos Aires is the largest city of Argentina, it is also its capital, and the second largest metropolitan area in South America.
Located on the western shore of the estuary of the Rio de la Plata, on the continent’s southeastern coast. Buenos Aires is the
most crowded city of Argentina with a population of around fifteen and a half million. Buenos Aires is a big cosmopolitan capital
known for its European atmosphere, and vibrant nightlife, you can find and do whatever you like in this beautiful city.

6. Mendoza would be another main city, it is the capital of Mendoza Providence and it is widely
known or recognized for being the heart of Argentina’s wine. The city has leafy streets lined
with modern and art deco buildings, and 4 plazas surrounding Plaza Independencia. Its
population is around 121.620 people.

7. Córdoba is also the capital of the province Córdoba in Argentina. Cordoba’s
architecture is mainly Spanish colonial architecture with a population of 1.158
million people. Córdoba is also the second largest city of the country. The
University of Córdoba is located here, and is the oldest university of the country
and the second to be inaugurated in Latin America.

8. Rosario would be the largest city of the Santa Fe
province with an estimated population of
1.276.000 people, it is the third largest city of
the country. It is known for the neoclassical
architecture that is still remaining in hundreds
of residences, houses, and public buildings. It
is center of main Argentina’s railroad, and is a
vibrant city for nightlife.

9. La Plata is the capital of the Province of Buenos Aires with a
population around 894.253 people or more. It is located only 55
kilometers away from Buenos Aires City to the Southeast. It is a city
with history and tradition but having a European style, changing
from beautiful and great public buildings to the main green areas,
La Plata stands as an example of well-planned Metropolis. It is also
very humid as it is just a few kilometers away from River Plate.

war victims of the Falklands War.

Argentina’s leader and hero in the struggle for Argentina’s independence: San Martín.
October 12th: Día de la Raza. On this day the Discovery of America by Columbus in 1492 is commemorated.

12. Just like so many places especially in the
city you have to be careful. Buenos Aires is
safer than most cities in South America, but
it cannot be compared with United States
safe. If you are going around the city, you
need to be careful, with this I am not saying
Buenos Aires is dangerous, but it can be if
you are not paying attention. So take your
precautions, don’t wave around in the
streets how many goods you have or don’t
walk distracted, always pay attention to
what might be happening
around you, and if you see something weird
or dangerous get quickly to the inside of
the shop closer to you. In dangerous
places, try to walk fast, and keep being
precautious. Delinquency can be just like
any other major city, but it can even a little
bit more dangerous than cities in the
United States.
