This document describes the Ardha Baddha Padmottanasana (Half Bound Lotus Standing Forward Bend Pose). It instructs the reader to begin in Tadasana (mountain pose) and bring one knee to the chest, placing the foot on the opposite inner thigh. It then tells the reader to lean forward from the lower back, making the back concave as the opposite hand reaches the ground by the bent foot. The reader is instructed to take a few breaths in this position before exhaling and bringing the forehead or chin to the bent knee, placing the other hand on the ground by the foot.
