Aquasorb is a superabsorbent polymer that absorbs up to 400 times its weight in water. It works by absorbing water and swelling to store moisture in its structure, then releasing it back to the soil during dry periods. This enhances water availability to plant roots and reduces drought stress. When used in hydroseeding applications, Aquasorb improves seed germination by providing continuous moisture and nutrients. It also limits water and nutrient loss, allowing vegetation to develop more uniformly across treated areas. Tests showed fields treated with Aquasorb had higher quality turf growth than untreated fields. Aquasorb provides benefits for sod installation as well by helping new sod overcome transplant stress and developing a healthier root system.

• Composition: Aquasorb is a superabsorbent anionic polyacrylamide polymer. It is a crosslinked copolymers of acrylamide
and potassium acrylate that is water insoluble.
• How it works: The product has the property of absorbing up to four hundred times its weight in distilled water and it
becomes gel
• In contact with water, the polymer network expands, thanks to an osmosis process and stores the moisture into its structure.
• Into the soil, Aquasorb swells in wet conditions and readily releases the moisture in dry conditions.
• The moistire absorbtion/desorbtion cycle enhances the water ability to the roots and reduces seeds and plants roots from
drought stress.
