customer wants to test the performance of application which is for an impending APAC region Pilot
release. A total of 3 scenarios were developed for load testing with a concurrency of 60 users.

PROJECT 6 : Unisys PeopleSoft ESS

The customer is a key player in logistics. The customer is having an in-house PeopleSoft
application. As part of requirement, the customer is upgrading their machines from Windows XP to
Windows 7. Previously, JCIFS was configured to provide SSO authentication to enable user
authorization. Since they are migrating to Windows 7 which supports only NTLM v2, JCIFS fails to
support due to incompatibility. As a replacement, IIS proxy was planned to configure to provide SSO
authentication. Six ESS based scenarios were scripted. Load testing was conducted on both JCIFS and
IIS environments to compare and ensure that IIS implementation should not degrade the user
performance.
