This document summarizes a co-creation event held in Ghent, Belgium called Apps For Ghent. Over 70 participants from 15 teams including students, IT companies, and individuals took part in the event. They had access to open data from the city of Ghent and other partners to develop apps. The teams presented their apps to a jury and the winners received prizes such as speaking slots and fellowships. The document discusses challenges of keeping the event fresh and ensuring the longevity of the apps, as well as promoting open data and expanding the event internationally.
