2. How Conversation With Peace
Website and App works
• The conversations with Peace website and app starts with the peace advocate challenge
which lets users converse in simulated conversations with several different peace
activist from all around the world. In creating the App I will use questions and answers
simulated from interviews and statements I will research to generate answers to the
different questions users can ask the peace activists. Users at the end of conversations
are tested on what they have learned and given points towards gaining the title of a
peace advocate. If enough points are not gained new questions are simulated to ask the
peace activist. Having different peace activists will let users from all different cultures
explore other cultures activists and be inspired. The game will be translated to different
languages so no language barrier will be up so it can be a global app. Not only will users
be learning about different cultures, but will be able to see similarities in how activists
believe in using non-violence.
• My target audience: Are students who range from ages 12 to 21. I plan to promote the
website and app as an educational resource. I will promote the website and app to
schools and promote it as a free educational app on ITunes. I believe the app will spread
as it become a valuable resource to inspire and teach children in schools and homes
around the world. The App and website also creates a community that collects future
peace leaders together which I hope to promote as a way to get older users to play the
game and become peace advocates especially college students.
3. Conversations with Peace
leaders and activists
Example Conversation with Gandhi:
Pick from a list of questions to ask him:
Then the answer will be read( in English if
that is language selected) and users can see
the answer in text(which will be converted
to different languages).
The game lets users test their knowledge
and also learn new information.
In the end of each conversation with peace
activists, users are tested on certain facts
that have been discussed and given points
towards the goal of earning the title of
peace advocate .
4. Part 2 of Conversations with Peace
Makers Game
• After Users have gained enough points and completed all the conversations with the
peace activists, users are then moved to the final part of the game.
• The final part of the game lets all the peace activists ask generated questions. This
will get the user thinking about what he or she has learned. It also inspires the user
to think about his/her role as a peace advocate in their society they live in and what
they can do to be a activist for peace in a non-violent way. After users have finished
all the questions they are awarded the title as a peace advocate and are able to
connect with other users who are peace advocates as well. This will connect users
from around the world and begin a community that will be able to post on the
website and apps peace advocates wall. Users can post questions on the wall for
users to answer and talk more about there culture. Users will also be able to share a
link showing their new title on social media sites like Facebook to get others to join
and become a peace advocate.
