This document discusses the apostate fruit of New Evangelicalism by providing examples in three areas: doctrine, ecumenism, and Christian living. In doctrine, a 1995 theology conference sponsored by Inter-Varsity at Wheaton College featured no representatives of historic evangelical orthodoxy committed to the unbroken authority of the Bible. In ecumenism, Billy Graham referred Catholics who came forward at his crusades back to Catholic churches rather than leading them to truly follow Christ. In Christian living, Evangelical publications positively review R-rated movies, Evangelical music groups emulate secular styles, and Evangelical college campuses resemble secular schools in a lack of modesty and focus on worldly concerns rather than Christ.
