Apollo was an important Greek god who was considered the god of light, music, poetry, healing, truth, and prophecy. He was believed to drive the sun across the sky each day in his four-horse chariot and was famous for his oracle at Delphi that people traveled to from all over Greece to foresee their future. Apollo lived on Mount Olympus and had several symbols and children associated with him.

Apollo is the god of truth, who cannot speak a lie.
The god of healing who taught man medicine.

was to harness his chariot with his four
horses and drive the sun across the sky
throughout the day.
