–Implemented on 7 May 2014
•prop-105 - Distribution of returned IPv4 address
–Implemented on 27 May 2014
4. What is the prop-105 Implementation?
•Additional IPv4 addresses for all APNIC account holders
•From 27 May 2014, each eligible APNIC account holder can receive additional IPv4 for up to a maximum of a /22 from the IANA returned pool

11. Procedure for IPv4 Transfers From ARIN to APNIC NIR Members
1. NIR member (recipient) consults with their NIR
•Check if that NIR allows IPv4 transfers
•Check if they can get pre-approval
•Check the transfer fee they need to pay 2. NIR member reaches transfer agreement with an ARIN member (source) 3. ARIN member submits transfer request to ARIN 4. ARIN evaluates the transfer request based on ARIN policy 5. ARIN forwards the transfer request to APNIC once they approved the transfer request and received ARIN’s transfer fee from their member (source)
12. Procedure for IPv4 Transfers From ARIN to APNIC NIR Members (cont.)
6. APNIC acknowledges the transfer request with ARIN
7. APNIC forwards the transfer request to the related NIR and asks the NIR to confirm
8. NIR contacts their member and evaluates the request
9. NIR will inform APNIC to accept the transfer once they approved the transfer and received the transfer fee from their member (recipient)
10. NIR provides registration details (includes reverse DNS information) to APNIC

11. APNIC updates the APNIC database to reflect the transfer and informs ARIN
12. ARIN updates the ARIN database to reflect the transfer and confirms to APNIC
13. APNIC notifies the NIR the transfer is completed
14. NIR notifies their member the transfer is completed
15. ARIN notifies their member the transfer is completed
