ArubaOS 8.x – License Migration Requirement
Starting in AOS 8.x, when migration from 6.x to 8.x, the migration process involves
two parts:
1. Migration of the existing 6.x configuration to an 8.x deployment using the
Migration Tool (covered separately)
2. Migration of the existing licenses to the 8.x Mobility Conductor through
the MyNetworkingPortal online
This guide will cover the migration of the existing 6.x licenses from the AOS 6.x
main controller and/or individual standalone/local controllers to a single Mobility
Conductor.
