Anoto Live Forms is a digital writing platform consisting of a server, print processor, and mobile/desktop apps. The server allows administrators to manage forms and users, and receive handwritten form data from various devices. The print processor enables printing Anoto dot patterns onto forms. Mobile apps for Android and iOS, and a desktop app for Windows, allow capturing handwriting with Anoto pens and submitting it to the server. The platform supports integrating handwritten form data into various backend systems.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Anoto Live™ Forms is a platform consisting of several components that together
deliver a complete solution for digital writing development, deployment and
integration. Based on a web application that can be accessed using any standard
browser, the system includes tools for administration, form digitisation, printing, PC
& mobile device data capture, validation and data integration.
Live Forms Server
Deployable either as an appliance or hosted in the cloud, the Anoto Live Forms
Server provides a complete environment for the administration and digitisation of
forms. Accessible via any web browser with the Adobe Flash plugin, Anoto Live
Forms provides components fulfilling the following functionality :-
• Dashboard showing number of connected devices, submissions, licenses etc.
• User and device management/licensing.
• Organisation management for multi-tennanted implementations.
• A forms library to allow you to upload, license and administer your forms.
• A forms digitisation canvas that takes allow you to define areas for handwriting
recognition based on any standards compliant PDF.
• A forms viewer for viewing and validating the interpreted data on submitted
forms.
Live Forms for Windows
Anoto Live Forms for Windows is a freely distributable component that when
installed on a users workstation provides the mechansism for transfering data
from a USB docked digital pen to an Anoto Live Forms server. Data is submitted
securely via HTTPS and proxy connections are supported. The client software also
provides pen configuration capabilities including name/time change, memory
purge, enabling/disabling Bluetooth and enablement of Bluetooth discovery mode.

Live Forms PrintProcessor
Enabling a form to work with an Anoto digital pen requires the printing of the Anoto
dot pattern onto the form background from which the pen reads and records the
handwriting strokes. The Anoto Live Forms PrintProcessor is a freely distributable
Windows component that connects to a defined server over HTTPS and allows a user
to view/print forms that their credentials allow them access to. The PrintProcessor
supports direct printing to a compatible PostScript printer as well as to file for onward
delivery to a professional print company. Integration of print-on-demand features
with external applications is supported through an XML interface and watch folder.
Live Forms for IOS/Android
For mobile workers, Anoto Live Forms supports Android and Apple devices through
its Android and IOS client software, available via the relevant App store. Data is
transmitted via Bluetooth from the pen to the device and then onwards to the server
over HTTPS via your devices Internet connection. Information interpreted on the form
can be instantly sent back to the client software in the form of a message, providing
the ability to validate the form for accuracy. In addition to form data, picture and GPS
information can also be included.
Data Integration
Anoto Live Forms is based on an extensible event driven architecture. Form workflow
and data output can be customised through the addition of PHP based event handlers.
Mobile client software derived from other Anoto Mobile SDK built products can also be
iintegrated via the server’s REST API’s for data submission.
