Feb 2010 – Sep 2016. SAS Developer - Solvency 2 Data Stream. SQL, PCSAS V9. SAS
Enterprise. Development of actuarial model point data files and various reports for group
finance area within SL. Eg: Movements reports, Published New Business, In Force, trends
and other summary reports. Outputs CSV, Excel, HTML, Email.
Technical documentation of current SAS processes, source to target, business rules and
Functional Specs.
Recent projects; Development and build of Unitised Pensions Vintage Asset Share actuarial
data. Build of new model point application for SL Trust Based Pensions.
This included from May 2010 – Sep 2010. External Secondment funded by SL.
Provided a cloud (SalesForce) CRM solution for a small charity. To enable them to
manage effectively their relationship with customers, donors and other stake holders.
Sept 2008 – Feb 2010. System Developer, IT Function. Oracle HTML Database (Application
Express) and Oracle Warehouse Builder, PL/SQL. Building MI solutions for all areas of the
group.
Jun 2005 – Sept 2008. SAS Analyst Programmer. Standard Life Bank, Technical Team. Build
and maintain mainframe SAS jobs to provide MI data. Other technologies: DB2, Platinum
unloads, XCOM, JCL, COBOL and PRO IV. Major projects included rationalising Bank MI
jobs and overseeing Bank migration to SAS V9. Ongoing production of marketing mailing
lists. SL Demutualisation project. Role and team redundant in 2008 during bank
rationalisation.
Produce various reports and data feeds for areas of SL Bank, including Credit Risk and Data
Analysis Team.
Mar 2002 – Jun 2005. Analyst Programmer, Document Development Services. Develop and
maintain document production software for the group, using IBM script language (DPII) and
DOC1. Mobius Viewdirect archive software. Elixir software for images, fixed text. Projects
