1) Bambino travels by boat with his father and grandfather to collect stars that have fallen from the moon. They use a ladder to reach the moon. 2) As they work, Bambino's father and grandfather disagree on which tools Bambino should use. A large star falls on the moon, too big to move. 3) Bambino solves the problem by hitting the large star with a hammer, breaking it into smaller stars they can collect. They return home with the moon now in a crescent shape after collecting the fallen stars.
