ANALISIS POTENSI PASAR GASMIN BATUBARA DI DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA

Gasifier batubara adalah teknologigasifikasiyang digunakan untukmengubah batubara
menjadibahan bakargasyang diprosesdalamsuatureaktor,karena reaktoriniberukuran kecil
sehingga dinamakan gasifikasi mini atau disingkat menjadi Gasmin batubara. Alat ini dapat
digunakan untukpemanasan atau pembakaran diberbagaiindustri kecil dan menengah (IKM),
sehingga menjadisalah satu pilihan diantara berbagaibahan bakarlain yang selama ini sudah
banyak digunakan seperti kayu, solar, gas dan lain-lain.
Metode pemasaran Gasmin batubara di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dilakukan melalui
diskusi kelompok terfokus, wawancara disertai kuesioner, testimoni dan pengenalan produk
dengan melakukan kunjungan keindustri yang sudah menggunakannya. Tujuan daripenelitian
ini adalah untuk mengukur pasar potensi IKM yang menggunakan Gasmin batubara di Daerah
Istimewa Yogyakarta.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis diperoleh bahwa peluang pasar Gasmin di
perajin batik sebesar 21%, atau 46 unit dari 139 perajin batik, peluang pasar di
makanan/minuman sebesar 6,98%, atau 15 unit dari 215 pengusaha makanan/minuman,
sedangkan potensi pasar di pengecoran alumunium sebanyak 36 unit dari 60 perusahaan.
Dengan demikian jumlah potensipasarGasmin diDaerah IstimewaYogyakartasebanyak97unit
usaha atau 17,06% dari 414 perusahaan.

POTENTIAL ANALYSIS OF COAL GASMIN MARKET IN DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA
ABSTRACK
Coalgasifier is a gasification technology used to convertcoal into processed gasfuels in a
reactor,becausethereactoris small so called mini gasification orshortened to Gasmin coal.This
tool can be used for heating or burning in various small and medium industries (IKM), so it
becomesoneof theoptionsamong variousotherfuelsthathavebeen widely used such aswood,
diesel, gas and others.
The Gasmin coal marketing method in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta was conducted
through focusgroup discussions,interviewsalongwith questionnaires,testimonialsand product
introductions with visits to industries already using them. The purpose of this research is to
measure the potential market of IKM using Gasmin coal in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.
Based on the result of research and analysis, it is found that the opportunity of Gasmin
marketin batikis 21%, or 46 unitsfrom 139 batik, 6.98% food/beveragemarketopportunity,or
15 units from215 food/beverageentrepreneurs,whilemarketpotentialin aluminiumcasting as

many as 36 units from 60 companies. Thus the total potential of gasmin market in Yogyakarta
Special Region is 97 business units or 17.06% from 414 companies.
