Disruptive technologies such as virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and big data are rapidly finding their ways in the Learning and Development (L&D)space. Is L&D ready for the perpetual permutation of technology, and the ability to apply that to learning and performance support? In this workshop, we will explore the types of disruptive technologies that are transforming L&D, some practical applications from intelligent chatbot coaching to adaptive learning management systems (LMS) and empathy training using VR goggles. Case studies and best practices will be discussed.
