Bill Aitken is a 60-year-old single MSP for the Scottish Conservative party. He was educated at Allan Glen's School in Glasgow and enjoys sports, especially football. He has held various roles in the insurance industry, as a Glasgow city councillor, and as a district court judge. He believes the Conservatives have an excellent chance of winning the next UK general election and that Scotland winning the Commonwealth Games will greatly benefit Glasgow. He also thinks it is time to consider increasing the powers of the Scottish parliament from Westminster and that a Scottish Conservative government would tackle youth crime, which often has young people as victims.
