2. Introduction
• AMRL HITECH City Limited is a joint venture effort of
AMR Group of Hyderabad and Tamil Nadu Industrial
Development Corporation(TIDCO).
• SEZ is the only Multi product SEZ in TamilNadu.
• SEZ is spread over 2500 Acres in Nanguneri Taluk of
Tirunelveli District of Tamil Nadu.

3. AMR Group
• AMR Group is a highly progressive and well placed
infrastructure development company, operating all over
India.
• Established in 1992, AMR Group is headed by Mr. A. Mahesh
Reddy as its Chairman & Managing Director.
• AMR Group has scaled enormous heights and successfully
executed various infrastructure projects across India and
Nepal, and involved in executing substantial contracts with
different Central and State Government Organizations, and
reputed companies.

4. TIDCO
• Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation Limited
(TIDCO) was established in 1965 as a Government of Tamil
Nadu Enterprise to encourage Industrial development and
leverage capital Investment through joint ventures.
• TIDCO facilitates investment in large industrial and
infrastructure project in Tamil Nadu is a Government of
Tamil Nadu Enterprise to stimulate industrial development
and leverage capital investment through joint ventures.

5. TIDCO promotes four types of Joint
Ventures
• Joint Sector (equity participation - Above 11% and up to 26%).
• Associate Sector (equity participation of 2% to 11%).
• Escort Sector (1%equity).
• Escort Services (no equity participation).

6. Roadways
• The SEZ, lifeline of AMRL is its comprehensive road network
system that ensures smooth flow of traffic and end to end
coverage through out the SEZ.
• Compared to any other SEZ Locations in India, the AMRL
SEZ is designed to utilize all the benefits of SEZ Zone
innovatively, space-efficient methods to create quality and
competent delivery systems in conformity with
international quality standards and
stringent environmental norms of
SEZs.

7. Water and Sewerage
• Surface drainage facilities and sewerage collection and
treatment systems designed with international touch helps in
effectively managing industrial and residential wastes and
effluents.
• Development of rainwater harvesting systems and summer
water storage facilities within the industrial zone and
residential zone.
• A well-managed solid waste management
system helps in its safe and appropriate
disposal without causing environmental
damage.

8. Power
• Assured and uninterrupted power supply to cater to the
needs of the industrial and residential facilities from the
Tamil Nadu Government.
• The presence of wind energy and thermal energy
development units of private and government players in the
close vicinity of the SEZ Zone Infrastructure, offers industrial
and residential occupants additional sources of power
allocation.

9. Safety and Security Measures
• The AMRL SEZ is equipped with relevant safety and
security features, both in the industrial processing zone
and the residential zone. To prevent unwanted intrusion
or trespassing into the SEZ.
• The main entrance ways will be guarded and entering or
exiting the SEZ will be managed by competent security
agencies.
• Fire prevention mechanisms and safety measures as
prescribed internationally are
placed in the industrial zone and
the residential zone to further
enhance safety and prevent
untoward accidents.
