Description
The IT Application Support department of world's third largest Oil and
Gas Company had around 250 applications whose Information Risk
Management (IRM) Compliance needs to be complete before the IT audit.
With Onsite-Offshore execution model, the accomplished tasks were to
update various attributes of application inventory, assess the
applications compliance readiness against applicable Information risk
standards and controls. The project work involved gap assessment of
applicable technical controls and remediation activities in SQL, Oracle,
IIS Servers, Team Foundation Server (TFS) and MS Access technologies.
The application risk profile rating i.e., the Confidentiality, Availability
and Integrity (CIA), release management procedure, Verification of
IT/User Access Review, preparation of backup and restore plan (BRP) and
Information Protection General Application Security Checklists were
major activities per application.

Description
Process Control Network (PCN) department will undergo IT audit with
respect to applicable Standards and controls. Gap assessment and
remediation activities. One of the major areas where the gaps were
found is in process and technical documentation. Once the requirements
were elicited, a methodology for process documentation was proposed.
This contained the activities like preparation of questionnaire,
preparation of process templates and interview tracker. Business process
documentation estimation technique was developed based on which the
project plan was prepared. The processes were designed and
documented along with the development of process map. SLA / OLA
Agreements and Disaster Recovery documents were developed.

Description
The objective of BPM Implementation project with Oracle E-Biz Suite for
a large world class engineering, construction, services and investment
business organization was to implement Level 4 process models and
enable the detailed understanding of business processes to
Analyst/Trainers. The project also required to provide inputs and
direction for UPK project thus fulfilling the training material requirement
for internal users on Oracle E-Biz Suite ERP. The business values
delivered was deployment of BPM methodology using ARIS which enabled
to create optimized and efficient workflows within requirements of legal
framework and streamlined the Inter-departmental processes. The
operational risks, verification and escalation mechanism was optimized.
252 L4 models were delivered across 4 functional domains v.i.z., HR,
Finance, Procurements and Projects.

Description
The JDE ERP as a central application needs to be standardized and
simultaneously implemented across all the manufacturing units globally
for a very large French Cement manufacturing company. The standard
ERP needs to be customized for each country and region due to local
regulations, accounting practices and various other operating business
parameters. The complexity increases multi-fold when each country or
region has preferences or business needs for certain non-ERP
applications. Interfaces adaptors needs to be built and supported for
data handshake between ERP and non-ERP applications. Another
dimension of the program management is cost optimization of data
centers setups at strategic geographical locations to take advantage of
cost arbitrage. With the constantly changing IT landscape and
advancements in technology, there is a need to adopt a multi-pronged
approach. Code customization, installation parameter customization,
system upgrade, application interface development, documentation,
production support, customization support, quality assurance and
compliance, risk and security compliance, training are in the scope of the
program from application point of view. Key activity involves deep

Description
AQS is a Policy Administration System developed as per requirements for
leading insurance company in U.S.A. The scope of work included system
testing of User interface, business rules and rating, predictive modeling,
Underwriting Rules Engine Testing and Workflow Testing. The test cases
needs to be tweaked for state specific logic. For testing purpose, the
states were divided into the way the insurance company was doing
business. The majority of the Non – life policy administration systems on
Legacy. Personal Lines (17% of business) and Commercial Lines (83% of
business) policy system maintenance and 24 X 7 production support was a
part of this project. Maintenance includes defect fixes, DB2 application
support and enhancements. Since these two systems were the heart of
the whole business, it had stringent quality controls and SLAs. Speed to
market is an important aspect in this business and this project involves
analyzing and implementing rate / form changes as well as regulatory
changes.

Legacy systems of a leading non-life insurance company in U.S.A. need
maintenance and upgrade due to evolving state specific rules and
regulations. The state specific business logic needs to be analyzed and
incorporated triggering a cascading effect on the other systems in the
system landscape. Organization was expanding their insurance business in
NJ. As a part of this, an existing third party operating agency’s
application data needs to be integrated with Organization’s current
systems. A new automobile rating structure will eventually replace the
existing Legacy rate plans. The main theme of this project was to revise
territory definition at a ZIP code or finer level and simplified ratings of
miscellaneous vehicles. Along with this, the scope of project also
involved conversion of existing Legacy business into a new automobile
rating structure using transition mod factor. Testing involved integration
of multiple system and complex scenarios generation with many variable
parameters.

The project work involved gap assessment of applicable technical controls and remediation activities in SQL, Oracle, IIS Servers, Team Foundation Server (TFS) and MS Access technologies. The application risk profile rating i.e., the Confidentiality, Availability and Integrity (CIA), release management procedure, Verification of IT/User Access Review, preparation of backup and restore plan (BRP) and Information Protection General Application Security Checklists were major activities per application. The scope of work included system testing of User interface, business rules and rating, predictive modeling, Underwriting Rules Engine Testing and Workflow Testing. The test cases needs to be tweaked for state specific logic. For testing purpose, the states were divided into the way the insurance company was doing business. The majority of the Non – life policy administration systems on Legacy. Personal Lines (17% of business) and Commercial Lines (83% of business) policy system maintenance and 24 X 7 production support was a part of this project. Maintenance includes defect fixes, DB2 application support and enhancements. Since these two systems were the heart of the whole business, it had stringent quality controls and SLAs. Speed to market is an important aspect in this business and this project involves analyzing and implementing rate / form changes as well as regulatory changes. Organization was expanding their insurance business in NJ. As a part of this, an existing third party operating agency’s application data needs to be integrated with Organization’s current systems. A new automobile rating structure will eventually replace the existing Legacy rate plans. The main theme of this project was to revise territory definition at a ZIP code or finer level and simplified ratings of miscellaneous vehicles. Along with this, the scope of project also involved conversion of existing Legacy business into a new automobile rating structure using transition mod factor.
