● Clear soda (like Sprite)
● Clear tall glass

● Food colors

● Glitter (optional)

● Safety goggles
● Spoon
● Straw
● String (3 meters)
● Sugar
● Tall glass
● Tape
● Water

Experiment: 1
Rainbow in a Glass
Materials:
• Clear tall glass
• Water
• Food colors
• Sugar
• Spoon
Steps:
• Fill 4 cups with different amounts
of sugar water
• Add different food colors
• Carefully layer them in the glass
• Watch the rainbow form!
The Science:
• Learn about density
• See how sugar changes water
• Understand layering

Materials:
 Raisins
 Clear soda (like Sprite)
 Tall glass
Steps:
1. Fill glass with soda
2. Drop in raisins
3. Watch them dance!
Why It Works:
 Bubbles stick to raisins
 Makes them float and
sink

Balloon Rocket
Materials:
 String (3 meters)
 Straw
 Balloon
 Tape
Steps:
1. Thread string through straw
2. Tie string across room
3. Blow up balloon (don't tie it!)
4. Tape balloon to straw
5. Let it go!

Tornado in a Bottle
Materials:
 2 plastic bottles
 Water
 Tape
 Glitter (optional)
Steps:
1. Fill one bottle 2/3 with water
2. Connect bottles with tape
3. Flip and swirl
4. Watch tornado form!
Experiment: 5
Growing Bean in a Jar
Materials:
 Glass jar
 Cotton
 Bean seed
 Water
Steps:
1. Line jar with cotton
2. Place bean against
glass
3. Keep cotton wet
4. Watch it grow!
Observe:
 Root growth
 Stem development
 Leaf formation
Experiment 6:
Color Walking Water
Materials:
 6 clear cups
 Food coloring
 Paper towels
 Water
Steps:
1. Arrange cups in
circle
2. Fill alternate cups
with colored water
3. Connect with paper
towel bridges
Experiment: 7
Color Changing Flowers
Materials:
 White flowers
 Food coloring
 Water
 Clear cups
Steps:
1. Fill cups with colored water
2. Put flowers in cups
3. Wait 24 hours
4. See petals change color!

7. Don't taste anything
8. Keep area clean
