Amazing Photography Tips: Experimenting With
Perspective

One oft-neglected aspect of photography is perspective. The best photographers know just how important perspective can be to
a shot. Many times, it is what spells the difference between a mediocre image and one that will be remembered for ages. In fact,
even stories change with the perspective.

Let’s take a look at some perspective tips shared by veteran photographers.
On buildings
People are often tempted to shoot buildings from street-level. While it may do wonders with skyscrapers and other massive
structures, it won’t do much with ordinary buildings. Experts in the field recommend checking out parallel or adjacent buildings
and shooting from a few levels up. Other experienced photographers suggest taking pictures at different times of the day.

On products
Usually, shooting a product from the front seems like a good idea. However, if the product is popular and has been seen by a
good majority of consumers, shooting it from different perspectives, and experimenting with the background may breathe new life
into it.
On events
Veteran photographers know how difficult it is to shoot events, which is why they often do so in groups. There are dozens of
factors affecting event shoots. Photographers should try shooting from a distance as well as close-up. They should also try
shooting from inside the crowd as well as from an obscure corner in the room.
