I got to experience a long term care facility environment. I got to learn how to use a packing machine and to use
a sealing machine. I was able to print out mass amount of labels and fill them in a timely manner. I learned to
change NDC’s and bill to the insurance company. I worked in a fast pace environment. I learned to place
prescription in the right tote to be shipped out and to scan them into the computer for shipment. I also got to
experience extemporaneous compounding with controlled substances as well.

I got to experience interacting with patients and counting medicine with a little compounding. I worked with the
register and entering in the new patient information in to the computer. Entering prescriptions in the computer
handling controlled substances and having verification from Pharmacist. I got to stock shelves and put away the
medication that had not been picked up and go through stock to get rid of the expired.
