2. Introduction
Axis Bank Limited, formerly known as UTI Bank is an Indian banking and
financial services company headquartered in Mumbai.
It sells financial services to large and mid-size companies
The first bank to begin operations as new private banks in 1994 after the
Government of India allowed new private banks to be established.
The Bank has a large footprint of 4,758 domestic branches with 10,990
ATMs as of 31st March 2022.
3. Industry profile

The first bank in India, though conservative, was established in 1786.
As per the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), India’s banking sector is sufficiently
capitalized and well-regulated. The financial and economic conditions in
the country are far superior to any other country in the world. Credit,
market and liquidity risk studies suggest that Indian banks are generally
resilient and have withstood the global downturn well.
The digital payments system in India has evolved the most among 25
countries with India’s Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) being the only
system at level five in the Faster Payments Innovation Index (FPII).* India’s
Unified Payments Interface (UPI) has also revolutionized real-time
payments and strived to increase its global reach in recent years.

Axis Bank India, the first bank to begin operations as new private banks in
1994 after the Government of India allowed new private banks to be

Axis Bank was jointly promoted by the Administrator of the specified
undertaking of the
Unit Trust of India (UTI-I)
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC)
General Insurance Corporation Ltd.
The Bank's principal activities are to provide commercial banking services
which include merchant banking, direct finance, infrastructure finance,
venture capital fund, advisory, trusteeship, forex, treasury and other
related financial services.
12. The bank should focus on mass banking in order to increase their market
share. They should launch such products which would be within the reach
of the lower middle class
Axis Bank offers the highest returns per annum at 33%, followed up by
ICICI and HDFC Bank at 16% and 8% respectively
Stock of Axis Bank (AXISBANK) is trading above an important moving
average line, and it has been above this line for quite some time now. This
is a good sign, and the stock might keep rising and move higher
Technical analysis forecast of Axis Bank Stock is that it’s in an uptrend for
short term, and I will avoid taking a SHORT or SELL trade in this stock. Look

indicators show uptrend so it’s a good stock for earning profit and they
can invest for long term purpose as well.
Axis Bank Stock is trading near its recent HIGHS, which reflects strong
buying momentum! Bulls are getting stronger in this stock.
Sequential growth in profit is 6588.50 in 2021 and till now profit is
13025.48
It’s a big opportunity for future returns.
