Tajuk : Ujian Makanan ( Kanji )
Tujuan Penyiasatan : Menyiasat hubungan di antara jenis buah dengan kehadiran kanji.
Hipotesis : Jus buah yang berlainan jenis mempunyai kandungan kanji yang berbeza.
Bahan : Buah – buahan seperti mempelam masak, betik, jambu, oren, mempelam
muda.
Alatan / Radas : Larutan Iodin, tabung uji, lesung batu, pisau, jubin.
Prosedur / Langkah-langkah :
1. Sediakan buah-buahan dan alatan serta radas yang diperlukan.
2. Potong buah-buahan dengan menggunakan pisau.
3. Hancurkan buah-buahan tersebut sehingga menjadi lumat dengan menggunakan
lesung batu.
4. Letakkan 2 sudu jus buah-buahan tersebut di atas jubin.
5. Titiskan dua titik larutan iodin ke atas jus buah-buahan yang mengandungi kanji.
6. Catatkan perubahan yang diperhatikan.

Keputusan / Pemerhatian :
Jenis Buah Perubahan Warna Pada Iodin
1. Buah mempelam masak Tidak berubah
2. Buah betik Tidak berubah
3. Buah oren Tidak berubah
4. Buah jambu batu Tidak berubah
5. Buah mempelam muda Tidak berubah
Perbincangan / manipulasi gerak balas :
1. Selepas beberapa minit, jus buah-buahan tersebut tidak bertukar warna
walaupun telah dicampurkan dengan larutan iodin.
2. Jus buah-buahan tidak berlaku sebarang tindak balas dengan larutan iodin.
Kesimpulan : Buah- buahan tidak mengandungi kanji.

mempelam muda.
Alatan / Radas : Bikar, penunu Bunsen, tabung uji, penyepit, rod kaca, larutan benedict,
lesung batu, kaki retort.
Prosedur / Langkah-langkah :
1. Sediakan buah-buahan dan alatan serta radas yang diperlukan.
2. Potong buah-buahan tersebut dengan menggunakan pisau.
3. Hancurkan buah-buahan tersebut dengan menggunakan lesung batu.
4. Masukkan sekurang-kurangnya 2ml jus buah-buahan tersebut ke dalam tabung
uji.
5. Panaskan air di dalam bikar dengan menggunakan penunu Bunsen.
6. Apabila air sudah panas, goncangkan dan didihkan campuran tersebut di dalam
kukusan air untuk beberapa minit.
7. Catatkan perubahan warna yang diperhatikan.
Keputusan / Pemerhatian :
Jenis Buah Perubahan warna pada larutan
1. Buah mempelam masak
2. Buah betik
3. Buah jambu batu
4. Buah oren
5. Buah mempelam muda
Mendakan merah bata terbentuk pada setiap jus buah.
Perbincangan / Manipulasi gerak balas :
1. Selepas beberapa minit, mendakan merah bata terbentuk pada setiap jus buah-
buahan.
2. Jus buah-buahan bertindak balas dengan larutan benedict.
Kesimpulan : Jus buah-buahan mengandungi gula penurun.
