The Altman House project involved designing a residence and site improvements on a 3-acre blufftop property in La Jolla, California. The design extended the building's geometry into the landscape and incorporated formal and family terraces, courts for basketball, tennis, and volleyball, a disappearing edge pool and spa, and the restoration of native bluff planting. The role included managing the master plan through design development and leading the graphic design.

DESCRIPTION: The Altman residence and 3 acre site are situated on top of
a bluff overlooking La Jolla and the ocean. The concept for
the design was to reflect and extend the building geometry
into the site, yet blend with the naturalized and native bluff
planting. Program includes formal entertaining terrace,
family terrace, basketball court, tennis court, disappearing
edge pool and spa, sand volleyball court, entry auto court,
planting design and bluff native planting restoration.
