3. 1.BY OWN CHOICE OF THE COMPANY- PROCEDURE
a. Compliancewith the provisions for choice of name.
b. Application for reservation of name to Registrar along with prescribed fee.
c. Reservation for sixty days.

e. Approval of Central Government-Application for approval shall be filed in form no. INC-24
along with fee.

4. 2.BY CHANGE IN ACTIVITIES OF THE COMPANY
When company changes its business activities and such change is not reflected in its name.
Company shall change the its name within the period of 6 months.
When the Central Government is of the opinion that the name of the company is identical or
similar to the existing company or any proprietor of existing trade mark makes an application an
applicationto the Government for issuing directionsto the company to change its name.

The place of registered office may be altered in any of the following ways-

Conditions
a. Authorised by article: The right to alter the share capital must be given in theArticles of
Association of the company.
b. Alterationcan be effected in the capital by passing an ordinary resolutionin the general meeting
of the company.
Alteration is for the following purposes-
a. An increase of its share capital by issue of new shares.
b. Consolidationof existing shares into shares of larger amounts.
c. Conversion of fully paid shares into stock or vice versa.
d. Cancellationof unissued shares.
