High purity quartz is a key material for our modern world. This presentation discusses the various purity levels of quartz and what are the contaminants of concern (measured in PPM) including various elements such as iron, boron and phosphorous and inclusions of solids, liquids and gaseous. The leading producers of these products are few in number and not all quartz deposits can be upgraded making several technical challenges for the industry. Hot chlorination and chemical leaching is discussed and the key end uses of pure quartz are mentioned including crucibles, optical glass for lens / fibres, halogen lamps and quartz glass etc. Spherical silica fillers for micro-electronics are also discussed. With the rise of PV globally quartz will remain an important mineral for the foreseeable future.

Diamonds are made from highly organized carbon. Natural Diamonds take around 1 billion to 3 billion years to form. Lab Grown Diamonds are created by applying heat and pressure to a diamond seed. This chamber replicates the conditions which are present inside the earth’s surface. The diamonds take around six to eight weeks to form. The diamonds are then cut, polished and graded. It is virtually impossible for the naked eye to tell the difference between lab grown and mined diamonds. They are a revolution in the diamond industry. Lab Created Diamonds many advantages over mined diamonds.

Lab grown diamonds is the next big thing in the jewellery world that is gaining persistent importance on all fronts. The key feature in a man-made diamond is its potential to be available in all seasons as they are generated in labs which do not need a certain environment for their growth. The labs also have the ability to produce Type II A diamonds manually. Type II A diamonds are the diamonds that qualify as a high class of diamonds; Cullinan, Kohinoor and Lesedi La Rona to name a few. Man-made diamonds are of various types; although, they still haven’t been able to replicate all the natural diamonds. There are two main types of man-made diamonds, let’s take a closer look at them and also the sub-types:

In this deck, you will learn the significance of workplace discipline for organisational success. You’ll also learn
• Four (4) workplace discipline methods you should consider
• The best and most practical approach to implementing workplace discipline.
• Three (3) key tips to maintain a disciplined workplace.

Unveiling the Secrets How Does Generative AI Work.pdfSam H
At its core, generative artificial intelligence relies on the concept of generative models, which serve as engines that churn out entirely new data resembling their training data. It is like a sculptor who has studied so many forms found in nature and then uses this knowledge to create sculptures from his imagination that have never been seen before anywhere else. If taken to cyberspace, gans work almost the same way.

EXLUSIVE PRODUCTION
Currently the production capabilities of the
company Alkor-D is growing from 500 carats
to 1500 carats per month. In future we are going
to grow 10 000 carats per month.
The synthesis of diamonds is carried out in our
own research laboratories using cubic Synthetic
Diamond Hydraulic Presses.
Diamonds are cut in the factory which has
50-years old historyand preserves thetraditions of
cutting diamonds “Russian Cut”.
4. HPHT TECHNIQUE CONSISTS IN A GROWING
OF DIAMOND SINGLE CRYSTALS UNDER HIGH
TEMPERATURE AND HIGH PRESSURE
ABOUT 1500 ° C, WITH THE DESIRED
GRADIENT AND ABOUT 50-70 THSD ATM.
Graphite powder is compressed into a small sheet.
Small diamond seed of approximately 0.5 mm size is
placed on it. When all elements ofthe future diamond
are ready, theyare placed in a special cell, which is able
to withstand tremendous pressure and temperature
in the following order: seed crystal on the bottom,
metal alloy (catalyst) and a carbon source in the form
of pressed graphite. Then the growth cell is placed
to a special laboratory equipment (hydraulic press of
high-pressure) where the chemical processes occur.
Metal is melted, the graphite is dissolved in the metal
and deposited on the seed diamond, which builds
new crystalline bonds.
This process allowing to grow a synthetic diamond
and can last from 4 to 10 days. Furthermore, it can
make a large-sized synthetic diamond.
5. THE ETCHING PROCESS
The process of etching is an extraction of monocrystals
from metal, which was formed during the synthesis.
Growing cells filled with synthesis product are poured
with (1,0 ±10) L. of nitric acid and then boiled during
(40±5) minutes until complete melting of metal.
Thereafter, the container is left to cool.
After cooling, containers are filled with water
(1,20±0,10) L. and are leaving until 10-15 minutes.
Then washing liquid is carefully poured into a separate
container to avoid of roiling of precipitate.
Monocrystals that stood out, are gently pulled out
from the growing cells.
The remaining precipitate is transferred to a container
and the cycle of etching is repeating all over again to
complete the extraction process of crystals from the
synthesis product.
6. Alcor-D cooperates with one of the most
powerful diamond cutting enterprises in
Ukraine, which was founded in 1969 and
in Soviet times it was part of
the Crystal System.
Long experience of the partner plant and
modern production facilities allow to obtain
the highest quality of cut diamonds.
