They will participate in a fashion show at Saks Fifth Avenue on November 4th to showcase the hottest menswear trends of the season. LOUIS (October 27, 2010) – ALIVE Magazine’s 2010 Men of Style have been chosen and are ready to be announced! This year’s trendsetters are Rene Knott, A.J. Thouvenot, Hikaru Nakamura, Jay Perez and Andrew Srenco. They will hit the runway for a mini fashion show featuring the hottest trends for the season during the Saks Fifth Avenue Presents ALIVE Magazine’s 2010 Men of Style event. The annual event celebrating men’s fashion is on Thursday, November 4th from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Saks Fifth Avenue in Plaza Frontenac. <br />Rene Knott, Sports Director for KSDK, used to wear sports jerseys but now wears a three-piece suit just like his dad always did. A.J. Thouvenot, local fashion designer and “Project Runway” Season 8 alum, believes that style is not what you choose to wear, but how you choose to wear it. Hikaru Nakamura, an American chess Grandmaster (GM) and the highest-ranked American in the world, always breaks out his best outfits when competing against a great player as a way of showing them respect. Jay Perez, an attorney with Korein Tillery LLC, gets his great fashion sense from his grandmother who instilled in him a great eye for tailored clothing and a proper fit. Andrew Srenco, Principle at Hatch Street Capital LLC, looks for pieces of clothing that will stand the test of time. <br />Guests at the Men of Style event will enjoy a 15 percent off Saks Fifth Avenue shopping pass good for that night only, with 5 percent of sales benefiting Food Outreach.
