This document provides directions and event details for the "Bowl for the Cure" bowling event on June 13th, 2008 to raise money for Coaches vs. Cancer. General Directions
From Northeast Philadelphia
Travel on I-95 S via the ramp to Chester. Get off
at exit 23 for Girard Ave/Lehigh Ave. Merge onto
E. Girard Avenue. Turn left at N. 2nd Street.
From Villanova Area
Take I-76 E (Schuylkill Expressway) toward Phila-
delphia. Make a slight left at I-676 E/ Vine St. Ex-
pressway. Take exit toward I-676/Ben Franklin
Bridge/US-30 E. Turn right on N. 6th Street and
then left at Race Street. Make a left at N. Colum-
bus Blvd and then another left onto Poplar Street.
Turn right at N. Front Street, followed by a left at
W. Laurel Street. Take a left onto N. 2nd Street.
From New Jersey
Cross Benjamin Franklin Bridge, make a slight
right at I-676 N/US-30 W. Take the 5th Street exit.
Make a slight right at N. 5th Street and turn right
at W. Girard Avenue. Turn right at N. 2nd Street.
From Delaware
Connect to I-95 N toward I-295/ Wilmington/
Philadelphia. Take exit 22 on the left for Callowhill
Street toward Independence Hall/ I-676E / US-30.
Turn right at N. 3rd Street. Make another right at
W. Wildey Street and take one last right turn onto
N. 2nd Street.

the Cure” event at North Bowl Bowling Alley on
June 13th, 2008. The Drexel Sport Management
Graduate Program has teamed up with the City
6 schools and COACHES VS. CANCER to
raise money for a great cause. COACHES VS.
CANCER is a nationwide effort that pairs the
American Cancer Society and the National Asso-
ciation of Basketball Coaches (NABC). This col-
laboration encourages coaches, teams, and com-
munities to increase cancer awareness and pro-
mote healthy living through a number of pro-
grams, including fundraising activities such as
ours. We are proud to lend our time and efforts
to such a worthy cause and look forward to
sharing this fun-filled and rewarding evening
with you!
