Ali Manouchehrizadeh chose to attend California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) for his freshman year to study architecture. He chose Cal Poly because it is a small public university close to his home with a strong architecture program. Some example architecture classes he plans to take are Architectural Engineering 211, 212, and 221. In his free time, Ali hopes to join the football and basketball teams as well as the Alpha Rho Chi architecture club.

2. WHY I CHOSE
CAL POLY
✴ Reason #1: I prefer a small, public school in a suburban
setting.
✴ Reason #2: I believe that Cal Poly is right for me because
it has the major Architecture (BArch, BA/BS, MArch,
MA/MS, PhD)
✴ Reason #3: Due to the fact that Cal Poly is the closest to
home, in my opinion, I think Cal Poly would be a great
university for me because it's top major is architecture.
Unfortunately, its cost is a little over my budget.
