To develop an innovative communication skills
training package that improves the
communication skills of the day to day carers of
people living with dementia.
We call this training emPoWereD Conversations

1. Informal carers (i.e. family and friends)
2. Hospital care workers (i.e. nursing staff)
3. Community care workers (i.e. community support workers)
4. Non-care service providers (i.e. police, Age UK)

Each person in the PWD’s support network will be trained in emPoWereD
Conversations and work as part of a network of people who are interested in
improving the quality of the PWD’s life.
