This document provides worked solutions for 3 algebra examples. The first example shows how to isolate the variable x when 2x = 6 by dividing both sides by 2, finding that x = 3. The second example solves the equation x + 6 = 9 by subtracting 6 from both sides, also getting x = 3. The third example indicates there will be harder questions solved using the same isolation of variable techniques shown in examples 1 and 2.
