Sofía Mulánovich is a professional Peruvian surfer who was the first Peruvian and Latin American woman to win the World Surfing Championship in 2004, winning it again that same year and coming in second in 2005. She has won 3 World Surfing Championships total as well as an ISA world championship and the 2006 Honda Women's US Open of Surfing, and was named to the Sports Laureles in Peru in 2005. She currently runs a national project to find young surfing talents under 18 and lives in Lima, Peru.
