CELEBRATION OF OUR PATRON SAINT, SAN JUAN DE

Council, organised by the Musical group “La Primitiva”
from Castell de Castells.
12.00 h. Blessing of the Bread, bestowing of medals of
the Fiesta committee members, followed by a solemn
Eucharist celebration in honour of Santísimo Cristo de la
Salud, sung by the Alcalalí choir. At the end of the mass
the blessed bread is shared out to all the people.
18.00 h. Theater in the “Cine Parroquial” Alicia en el País
de las Maravillas sponsored by the
Alicante Diputación and the Town Council.
21.30 h. Assembly of the Fiesta committee, the members

4. Return of “Sant Joanet”
19.00 h. The return of the image “Sant Joanet” de
Mosquera to the hermitage, accompained by “Dolçaina i
tabalet”. After this there is an afternoon snack. (The
return will be made when the works from the hermitage
are finished).
The tickets for the BBQ, giant paella and “cocà” can be
collected at the old Town Hall, in the Plaza del
Ayuntamiento, on:
• Saturday 13 June from 19.00 to 21.00,
• Sunday 14 June from 21.30 to 22.30 and
• Wednesday 17 June from 21.30 to 22.30.
