Einstein was born in 1879 and moved to Munich as a child where he was a poor student. He later attended the Institute of Technology in 1896 and took a job at the Swiss patent office in 1902. It was in 1905 that Einstein published four groundbreaking papers that changed physics and launched his career as the most influential scientist of the 20th century.
