Mr. Albert Choong has worked for me directly and indirectly on multiple projects during his 4
year career with Owens Corning. His mechanical and electrical skills were very instrumental in
enabling a very successful startup and continued operation of our new facility in Singapore,
during my assignment from 2010 - 2011. He was promoted to Design and Technical Manager
while in Singapore, where he continued to utilize his skills in product design, process
implementation/ improvement, and various capital equipment projects. Based on his continued
achievements, he was promoted to Engineering Manager of our most critical process for a new
facility acquisition in Suzhou, China. During his assignment in Suzhou, he not only was
successful in his primary role, but he also was very involved in construction management and
process implementation throughout the facility. His interest in learning new skills and
willingness to take on various assignments is admirable.
Albert had an exceptional working relationship with core managers and team members as well
as the production workforce in both Singapore and Suzhou. I personally rank Albert, among the
top 3 employees I have ever had the privilege to work with during my 20+ year career in
manufacturing.
While it is difficult to see him leave, I understand and support his desire to move on to other
challenges and career growth opportunities.
