The LILY project was a 3-year EU-funded project that used a living lab approach to develop ICT solutions to support independent living for older adults. The project involved universities, SMEs, and end users in Finland and France. Through user workshops, interviews, and pilots, the project gathered requirements from older adults, their caregivers, and other stakeholders. This informed the development of services like the LILY Butler interface and VISAGE touchscreen system. The goal was to help older adults live independently through services that support daily activities and communication between seniors and their caregivers.
