Midfielder, Will Kassen, takes on the field at the annual El Paso soccer tournament. Will
has played soccer for 14 years and is Frisco’s leading assister. “ I mean who’s gonna stop
me?”

Hot Day!
The Stars dancing team rehearses for an upcoming show on the turf field. The ladies here
practice for over nine hours a week, not including their 3A dance period. “I enjoy dancing
and makes me more excited to perform.” (Chelsea Bettad)

Soccer players Will Kassen and Lao Mengel and Mrs. Mitchell’s very own Tyler Plow are at
the El Paso Soccer Tournament. Tyler Plow has been in Mrs. Mitchell’s class for four years.
“The class is a lot different than any other class offered at FHS. Mrs. Mitchell gets to know
all of her students and you have to pace yourself to complete deadlines over long period
of time , so it helps with self discipline.”

Mr. Hayes 3A/ Wind Symphony
Ethan Leon (right), Adam Naumann( Middle), Nick Cleaver(Left) all play tuba for Mr. Hayes. This is all their
first year as juniors to play for the highest band (Wind Symphony). “When I play I feel as if nothing else
matters, its calming and is a rockstar feel.” (Nick Cleaver)

6. Lexi Laura/ freshman
Attacking Mid, Lexi Laura takes the field for the first time as one of three freshman on
varsity. Much of him is expected from Frisco soccer because of the legacy his older brother,
Sergio Laura left. “I mean yeah my brothers a hero and all, but he’s not me, don’t drag me
down to that level.”

7. Michael Flemming/junior
Pull the Strings
Michael plays the violin in the orchestra class and makes the sounds of a God.
Michael has now played violin for eight years and plans on playing for a while. “Its
relaxing, I feel like such a calm person.”
8. Frisco HS Varsity Boys Soccer
The FHS Boys soccer team takes on the El Paso Rays and try to come out with an easy win.
Midfielder Lao Mengel flicks the ball in the air and takes an easy touch. The FHS boys have
the oldest team in the district and have high hopes to make playoffs. “With old skill and
young talent we are the best team in Frisco; hands down.” ( Coach Dollinger)

From Photo to Broadcast
Bright smile to bright futures in TV Broadcast; Kylie Keyes interviews one of her dear classmates for a project.
Kylie is only a sophomore and has inspiring dreams of being a TV host. “Broadcast has taught me how to use
my great speech abilities and help others express themselves.”
10. FHS Boys Soccer

FHS boys Nathan Bloomer and Brayden take on El Paso Rays and have the clock winding
down on them to the sound of the first half. Both boys in the picture have played varsity
soccer for FHS since they were freshman. “Last year wasn't all that great but we have come
closer into team needs, so we understand each other.” (Nathan Bloomer)

The Best of Both Worlds
Taylor Davis is in band and also photojournalism she has exceed highly in one of these
classes. Taylor has played french horn for four and a half years now and has been in the
FHS band for three years. “The act of playing music is both soothing to the ears and
calming to the mind.”

Former Looks
Former student of Mrs. Mitchell, Daryl Johnson works in PhotoShop to edit a portrait of
another student. Daryl has now been shooting for over four years and study the arts of
photography. “Everything is all in perspective and how you look at situations, I like to
look through a lens.”

Junior Heaven poses for the camera as she works on the yearbook for Mrs. Mitchell’s Year book class . She has
been in yearbook for three years and plans to take yearbook next year. “WE ARE FAMILY, because we fight like
family and are always there for each other.”

Mady works hard in Mrs.Mitchell’s yearbook class and takes names down. She has been at Frisco for three years
and enjoys Mrs.Mitchell’s class highly. ”She has helped me not just as a teacher but a friend, and sometimes we
take her for granted.”

The Sky is Falling
Joyful trombone player Darrien Price takes a break and looks over at a fellow classmate. He has now played
trombone for six years in Frisco.”Band is like a family when one person has an issue we all have an issue.”

Mrs. Mitchell has not only been a great role model and
mentor, but also a dear friend,and great friend. She
has led multiple classes such as PhotoJournalism and
the Yearbook class. “This group of students have been
a eclectic group, and I've been teaching for twenty
seven years.”
