company to gain experience and further knowledge in the field.
Education
Gateway Community College [8/09 – 1/11]
Completed associates degree in Cisco Networking
Arizona State University - College of Technology and Innovation [8/11 – Current]
Pursuing Bachelors of Engineering in Software Engineering (to be completed in 2016)
Employment
Arizona State University - Grader [3/14 – 5/14, 3/15-5/15 ]
Grader for online CST150 (System Fundamentals) course. Responsibilities included creation of class
projects, communicating with students on a discussion board, grading quiz and project submissions of the 86
attending students.
Arizona State University – Grader [9/14 – 12/14]
Grader for course IFT201(Computer and Network Organization and Administration) course.
Responsibilities include grading quiz, homework and in class submissions as well as meeting with students to
give individual assistance.
School Projects
Air Quality Monitoring System – Designed an embedded system with a team that monitors the temperature,
humidity, methane and carbon monoxide in a room and displays the information on a computer based UI. The
sensor data is read by an arduino and sent wirelessly to the java based UI. Multiple monitoring devices can be
networked, rooms can be added to the UI, and a real-time display with warnings and a log are some features of
the UI.
Single-cycle MIPS Processor – Designed and implemented a processor with a team. This was written in Verilog
and simulated using Xilinx.
Traffic Light System – Designed a system with a team that allowed for flow of RC cars through a simulated
neighborhood with traffic lights using python. Sensors were used to detect cars presence and advance the state of
the light that the current car was at. Multiple lights needed be active at once.

Individual Projects
Home Security Device (in progress) – In the process of designing a security bot that tracks motion and sends a
live video feed to the user. This is an individual project being implemented with an Arduino microcontroller and
a wireless router flashed with OpenCV and coded in C.
Automated Plant Watering System – Designed a system using an arduino that, twice a day, reads soil moisture
levels in the pot that a plant is in and pumps water until the threshold moisture level is reached. Moisture is
displayed on a 16x2 lcd display, as well as led indicators for moisture and water levels. The current system can
support 4 plants (assuming one motor and sensor per plant), but can be easily expandable if larger arduino is
used.
