Project1 PIR & GSM based Home Security System.
Description The objective of this project is to provide security system to a home using GSM
technology. This system facilitates the house owners to monitor their home remotely
from anywhere in the world. This system comprises of a Microcontroller based
monitoring system along with PIR (Passive Infrared) sensor. Presence of human
beings (thieves) i.e. whenever an un-authorized entry is done, this system sends SMS
alerts to the house owner or Police automatically.
Environment 8051 Micro controller, sensor, SIM900-GSM.
Project2 Engine -Self test with Air Pollution Detection & Remote Information System.
Description The project aims at designing an intelligent vehicle state estimation system regarding
engine temperature and vehicle pollution. The parameters along with GPS coordinates will
be sent to RTO authorities in the form of SMS using GSM technology. The system also has
a relay to control the ignition of the vehicle. The alerts regarding abnormal parameters are
given through buzzer and on LCD display.
Environment LPC2148 controller, Embedded C, Keil IDE.
