Her areas of expertise include gender studies, community development, and qualitative research methods. She has worked extensively in Ghana on projects related to health, agriculture, water and sanitation, and HIV/AIDS.

Practitioner and a Consultant with seventeen years professional experience as a Social Scientist and a
Lecturer in Social Anthropology, Culture and Development, Sociology of the Family, Gender Studies and
Research Methods at the Department of Sociology, University of Ghana.
• She has in-depth knowledge not only about socio-cultural systems, but also how humans and societies
respond to change. She has extensive experience in the use of qualitative research techniques and
participatory tools, and has been involved in large-scale multi-country research as well as training of field
assistants. She also has experience in monitoring research for Data Safety and management.
