2 itineraries: Inside Passage & Gulf of Alaska (if seas are choppy, Gulf of Alaska itinerary is more prone to exposure)
Season lasts five months: May-September, with the shoulder seasons (May & August/September) being less crowded.  Mid-June through Mid-August are peak season.  Salmon start running in late June – when there are salmon, there are bears.  Northern lights can be seen in late-September.
