In 2012, AIESEC Melbourne saw growth in their exchange programs. The Global Cultural Diversity Program (GCDP) increased from 0 to 5 exchanges and the Global Internship Program (GIP) remained steady at 2 exchanges in 2011 and 2012. Total matched exchanges increased from 2 to 6 and realized exchanges increased from 0 to 6. Membership grew from 48 to 57 people, a 19% increase. The Total Leadership Program also increased from 7 to 13 members, an 86% growth. Several initiatives were undertaken to improve process efficiency, brand awareness, and member development. Financial performance was positive with $50,813.50 in profit from exchanges and $1,000 from non-exchange activities.
