Artificial Intelligence By: Zaheer
Definition of Artificial Intelligence Science and engineering of making intelligent machines, especially intelligent computer programs. It is related to the similar task of using computers to understand human intelligence, but AI does not have to confine itself to methods that are biologically observable.
The History of AI After WWII, a number of people independently started to work on intelligent machines. The English mathematician Alan Turing may have been the first. He gave a lecture on it in 1947. He also may have been the first to decide that AI was best researched by programming computers rather than by building machines. By the late 1950s, there were many researchers on AI, and most of them were basing their work on programming computers.
Branches of Artificial Intelligence Logical AI Search Pattern Recognition Representation Interference Common Sense knowledge and Reasoning Learning from experience Planning Epistemology ontology Heuristics Genetic Programming
Application of AI game playing- playing games speech recognition- in airports have their voices of saying the city understanding natural language- understand other languages computer vision- using 2-d or 3-d programs heuristic classification- for example using them in credit card purchases
ASIMO Honda designed a robot that can: Recognize movement, postures, gestures, the environment around it, sounds, and facial recognition Using the net for updates like news or weather

Halo - Cortana Cortana is a fictional artificial intelligence with female programming in the Halo series of video games. Throughout the video games, Cortana assists Master Chief on his missions; she is instrumental in preventing the Halo installations from being fired.

Forza Motorsport This is a racing simulator game in which it allows the gamer to drive. But the opponents are AI in which allows them to play as hard as you.

Robots Robots are able to do human everyday activities. It is either automatic or operated by a remote. Some are even programmed to do certain things.
Uses of Robots
Vex Robotics I currently own this product which allows my imagination to build any thing. I have used it like a crane, catapult, and even a transporter. It has a CD in which I can program it. For example give it the dimensions of my room and it will be able to know where it is going.

My point of view I think AI would be good for us. It will allow the AI to do our bad jobs and other harmful things that affect the human body. For example like mining for diamonds or coal.
