3. AMERICAN HORROR STORY
• American Horror Story is an American TV series, produced by Ryan
Murphy and Brad Falchuk.
• Its an anthology series, meaning every season is different, this
includes the cast and characters within the series.
• The storyline for every single season its different and that also includes
the setting, yet every season has its own beginning, middle and end.
• So far there are only 4 seasons (4 has not finished yet)
• This series is being produced in FX in USA.
• Jessica Lange – One of the actress that has appeared in every single
season has received the Emmy Award, The Golden Globe Award
and the Screen Actors Guild Award for her performance.
5. MURDER
HOUSE 2011
• This season is about infidelity.
• Murder House takes place in Los Angeles, California.
• Ben and Vivien are married with a young daughter, Violet. They are having
relationship problems as Ben cheated on Vivien and she had a miscarriage.
• Ben convinces her to move into a new house and have a fresh start in order
to repair the damage in their relationship.
• Ben’s jobs as a psychologist its not doing too well therefore they don’t have a
lot of money to move house, but it turns out there’s this really big mansion
who seems to be pretty cheap.
• No wonder the house was cheap, the house was haunted.
• This house turns out to be haunted by the ghosts of anyone who has ever
died on the property.
7. ASYLUM 2012-2013
• This season is about sanity.
• The story takes place in 1964 and it follows the patients, nuns and doctors who
• work or attend Briarcliff which is a Mental Institution.
• This season its about innocent people who got put unjustly in this Mental Institution,
for example:
• Sarah Paulson go put in it for being a lesbian which is against religion.
• Evan Peters go put in it because he was accused of killing his own wife when really, he
was abducted by aliens.
• Jessica Lange is a nun, Sarah Paulson is a TV reporter and Evan Peters is a n average guy
living with his wife. These three characters appear in season 1 , Murder House.
9. COVEN 2013- 2014
• Coven is about oppression.
• This season is filmed in New Orleans.
• This season consists of witches who have survived the Salem Witch Trials, they are
nearly extinct and once again facing danger.
• A new all-girls boarding school mysteriously appear in new Orleansto protect every
young woman who carries that unique bloodline.
• The most powerful witch its called The Supreme, who by not surprise, its played by
Jessica Lange.
• All of the other few girls take part in some tests to show if they are or not the
following the supreme.
• As the actual supreme, Jessica Lange gets weaker the soon to be supreme gets
stronger. If they fail one test, they die as they are not the supreme.
• This season has other themes along with its actual theme including witchcraft,
voodoo, racism, and family such as the relationship between mothers and daughters
(Jessica Lange and Sarah Paulson)
• Its set in the modern days with some flashbacks to the early 1970’s and the 1830’s.
11. FREAK SHOW
• This fourth season is about discrimination, particularly the king of people who get
classified as freaks by the public, hence the title.
• The storyline takes place in Jupiter, Florida.
• Again the protagonist is Jessica Lange who lead a circus full of freaks.
• Every single ‘freak’ has its own ‘disability’
• Sarah Paulson has two heads, she plays the conjoined twins, Bette and Dot.
• Evan Petters has crabhands.
• Angela basset plays a woman with three breasts.
• When Jessica find the two twins at the hospital she realized she could give them a
home in exchange of her own fame.
