consume wholesome food, do not eat in hurry or too slowly, eat with concentration &
without laughing or talking.

8. Eat freshly made, hot & homemade food
Eat when you feel hungry & when previous meal is digested.
Drink water when you feel thirsty.
Eat locally grown food (oil. Vegetables, fruits)
Do not consume raw or heavy food items after sunset. Try to finish dinner before
sunset.
Ayurved measures goodness of food in terms of rasa (tastes). One meal should be
inclusive of all 6 tastes i.e., sweet, sour, salty, pungent, bitter & astringent.
Meal should be inclusive of roti, sabji, dal, rice, ghee, lemon, homemade pickle &
chutney, koshimbir (salad)
