AFRICAN TRIBAL MASK
Introduction

  Tribal people would use
   masks to save them from
  animals and war, or even in
   Festivals while dancing.
What you need
(Materials)
1. A boxboards
2. Tissue paper
3. Scissors
4. Old newspaper
5. Pencils
6. Marker
7. A mixture of glue and water (1 cup glue
   and 3 cup water)
8. Acrylic colours
9. Sponge
Method

Step 1:
   First draw the Mask
  on the boxboard and
  make it’s a big nose
  and a scary looking
  mouth.
Step 2:

 Dip the newspaper
 properly in a mixture
 of glue and water .
       Squeeze out the
 extra liquid in it and
 then stick this.
Step 3:

   For the nose take a
 cardboard cut out,
 Fold this and stick it
 on. To Fold it, score it
 a little with scissor .
 So that it is easy to
 Fold.
Step 4:

 To make the Mask
even and smooth and
give a texture, stick
tissue paper. Strips
with the help of glue
and water mixture.
Coat the entire mask.
Step 5:

  Apply a dark
coloured base coat
use a sponge So
that the texture
doesn’t get ruined.
Step 6:
 For the finer detailing make
use of the brush. Draw a thick
black outline with a marker.
This gives a proper definition.
