This document outlines objectives, definitions, and concepts related to development from a Christian perspective with a focus on development in Africa. The key objectives are: awakening Africans to development with God; understanding divine principles of development; aligning with God's development plan for Africa; and encouraging Africans to take responsibility for development. It defines development using Genesis 1:28 focusing on identity, potential, and capacity. It also discusses divine and human focuses on development, history of world population and the rise of superpowers, names and surveys of the African continent, promises and purposes for development, and positive references to Africa in the Bible.
This document discusses trends in business, religion, society, and demographics that will impact opportunities for global impact by 2040. It notes that Africa will see major population growth and may have the furthest to go, posing challenges and opportunities for education and products/services. Religious trends show the number of Christians and Muslims will continue growing significantly. Social media use is a major new factor, with nearly half of the world's population using it. The data calls for finding ways to use all available technologies and data to spread spiritual messages globally and bring people to faith in alignment with God's promises and plans.
This document provides an overview and lesson plan for teaching about the Old Testament. It summarizes the major periods and events of OT history, including the Patriarchal Ages, time as Judges, reign of kings, and Prophetic Era. It also outlines the key books and timeline of the OT and NT. The lesson focuses on the period from the Fall of Man to the Flood, examining the corruption of that time, the righteous men like Abel and Enoch who stood alone, and Noah who heeded God's warning to build an ark.
This document discusses education and knowledge from a biblical perspective. It emphasizes that education is a pathway to knowledge and vision, and that growing in knowledge of God is important. It provides several biblical verses supporting this, such as Colossians 1:10 about living worthily and growing in knowledge of God. The document also announces a partnership between Oral Roberts University and the reader, offering a 25% discount on ORU's 150+ academic programs that can be pursued online or on campus.
YAH reveals a remnant seven thousands have not bowed to the image of Baal (false god-Romans 11:4; 1 King 19:14). Sadly, vast amount of Hebrew Israelites demonstrated a hardening of the heart, which means deafness, blind, and numbness to spirituality. YAH has established a special relationship with Israel whereas through them the world would come to know Yahweh. Salvation is to the Hebrews first, the chosen I have given my spoken Word.

The document discusses the Bible and its authority. It notes that the Bible is both the most loved and hated book, as it has inspired great acts but is also blamed for terrible acts. It then discusses evidence for the reliability and authority of the Bible, including its historical accuracy validated by archaeology, accurate prophecies, and manuscript consistency with very few errors. The document argues that both general revelation in nature and special revelation in the Bible are needed to fully understand God, and that the Bible has transformed many lives due to its timeless message. It concludes the Bible can be trusted as the inspired word of God.

Koyo bearings can maximize productivity, whether you're moving mountains or making microchips learn to (do) why you really need koyo bearing like a professional.
This document discusses optimizing the orientation of an offshore oil and gas platform through computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling. Key parameters like natural ventilation, helideck impairment from exhaust, wind chill effects, lifeboat drift, and tendon stress were considered. CFD simulations using STAR-CCM+ were conducted for different platform orientations. The results showed the optimum orientation balanced all parameters, with the platform's north facing true east-southeast. This approach integrates engineering judgment and CFD to achieve a safer design compared to relying only on past experience.
The document discusses the social media strategies and growth of the Career Resource Center (CRC) and Office of Internships and Experiential Learning (IEL) at the University at Buffalo. It shows that both CRC and IEL have significantly grown their social media presence in the past year. Gender stereotypes associated with certain careers should be addressed by encouraging all genders to pursue their interests and ensuring equal representation and treatment.
The document discusses cultural and ethnic identity from a biblical perspective. It makes three key points:
1. At the beginning and end of Scripture, God intends for humanity to diversify culturally and celebrates this diversity. The Bible shows how cultural identities formed after Noah's flood and will exist in heaven.
2. God honors cultural identity by respecting how people identify themselves. The Bible describes how ethnic identities extended from families and were marked by shared characteristics like language and location.
3. While "race" is a modern concept not in Scripture, the Bible does acknowledge groups with shared ancestry or lineages. In ministry, it is important to understand people's lived experiences with their cultural identities, which are socially constructed

This document summarizes a biblical story about a poor wise man who saved a city from a great king's siege. It discusses how the poor man's wisdom was not heeded and he was soon forgotten, despite wisdom being better than might. The goal is mobilizing missionaries and pioneering churches to see indigenous movements of thousands transformed in each city.

The document also discusses how the Quran refers to the Muslim Ummah as the best community for mankind and the community of the middle path that will serve as a witness. However, it questions whether this ideal Ummah truly exists today given various contemporary challenges facing the Muslim world.
Hammurabi, the king of Babylon, promulgated one of the first written legal codes in history. The code contained 282 laws and established legal precedents on family law, inheritance, debt, trade, and criminal offenses. The code reflected Hammurabi's divine authority as king and established Babylon as a major political and cultural power in Mesopotamia during the 18th century BCE.
