This document contains an edit decision list for an advertisement shoot. It provides 20 video clips ranging from 3 to 15 seconds in length and notes the reasoning for including or excluding each clip from the final advertisement. Common reasons for exclusion include shots being out of focus, shaky, or including unwanted movements or facial expressions. Shots used tended to be well-framed, steady, and showed the model's movements flowing well. The list helps the editor choose the best shots to construct the final advertisement.

1. Advert 1 edit decision list
Shot name Duration Reasoning
00000 00.00.05 I used this clip in my first
advert because the shot
was very well framed
and showed her enjoying
herself in the sportswear.
00001 00.00.40 The movement were not
correctly done and the
shot went on for too long.
00002 00.00.24 This shot was filmed
when my model wasn’t
ready therefore her
movements didn’t flow.
00003 00.00.07 The shot wasn’t steady
enough showing
shakiness in places.
00004 00.00.10 In the middle of the clip
the shot became blurred.
00005 00.00.04 My model began to cough
in the clip therefore
unable to use.
00006 00.00.06 This shot became blurred
in the middle therefore
making it difficult to crop
to use.
00007 00.00.07 This shot was used as it
was framed accurately
and the movement
flowed very well.
00008 00.00.03 This shot was too short
to see what was
happening in the footage.
00009 00.00.04 This shot was used in my
advert because it was
very sharp and showed
the movement very well.
00010 00.00.15 The pan in this shoot
wasn’t steady and the
actual clip was blurred.
00011 00.00.6 This shot was used in my
advert however was
cropped to avoid the blur
in the shot.
00012 00.00.07 This shot was used as it
was framed accurately
and the movement
flowed very well.
2. 00013 00.00.09 This shot was not used
because of it being blurry
and including too many
movements.
00014 00.00.07 This shot was a tilt
upwards however I
preferred to use another
shot that flowed better.
00015 00.00.07 This shot was unfocused
throughout and appeared
very shaky at the
beginning.
00016 00.00.6 This shot wasn’t used
because the zoom’s
speed increased near the
end.
00017 00.00.06 This shot was used in my
advert because the zoom
was an even pace that
flowed very well.
00018 00.00.07 This shot was not used
because the face of my
model was blurred
throughout the whole
clip.
00019 00.00.03 This shot was not used
because the facial
expression on the models
face did not fit the theme
of my advert.
00020 00.00.05 This shot was used twice
in my advert however
using the crop tool to
separate each part I
wanted.
